Recently, I reached a significant milestone in my career, transitioning from <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"159\">Assistant Professor<\/b> to <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"182\">Associate Professor<\/b>.<\/p><p>With this new rank comes a new home. I have moved from the <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"59\">Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)<\/b> at the <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"122\">University of Western Macedonia<\/b> to the <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"161\">Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering<\/b> at the <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"218\">Democritus University of Thrace<\/b>.<\/p><p>This transition feels symbolic in many ways. I worked for several years at the University of Western Macedonia, which holds the title of the newest university in Greece. Being part of a young, energetic institution allowed me to witness firsthand the drive required to build something from the ground up.<\/p><p>Now, I am honored to join the Democritus University of Thrace, one of our country\u2019s oldest and most prestigious institutions. To move from a &#8220;new&#8221; seat of learning to one with such a long-standing legacy of academic excellence is a privilege I do not take lightly.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"10\">While my title and location have changed, my underlying goal remains the same.
