By combining:<br \/>\ud83e\udef4 a microcontroller-enabled RIS architecture,<br \/>\ud83e\udef4 low-latency channel estimation using a small subset of transmitting RIS elements, and<br \/>\ud83e\udef4 a\u00a0low-complexity machine learning framework\u00a0that exploits spatial channel correlation,<br \/>SORIS can efficiently acquire channel state information and dynamically reconfigure itself to assist wireless communications.
